Martha is a workplace, (NOCN accredited) and civil commercial (ADRg accredited) mediator, trainer and conflict coach (Cinergy accredited) and qualified in Mediation Supervision from the British Psychological Society (BPS). She is on the Board of the Civil Mediation Council (CMC), the recognised authority on mediation in England and Wales.

She had a career in journalism and communications. She worked as a broadcaster and journalist and led the media agenda of a number of international development agencies.
