John Sturrock who is "universally regarded as Scotland's finest mediator" and one of UK's best Mediators. He became a Queen's Counsel in 1999 and, designed and led the Scottish Bar's award-winning advocacy skills programme. He also published in April 2020 a book called “A Mediator’s Musings” and has recently released a series of podcasts.

John is an internationally recognized commercial mediator but also a “thought leader” in the area of mediation. In fact, this is how I got to know him: through reading his writings in www.mediate.com one of which was about Brexit. Trained in negotiation at Harvard, he is an internationally recognised coach, facilitator and strategic adviser in the fields of negotiation, mediation and communication and has worked with business leaders and executives, senior civil servants, top athletes and parliamentarians and has been described as "one of the best teachers of mediation."
